A tennis legend who obtained his best ranking in singles on November 18th in 1991 gaining the 8th position. In doubles, he gained the 25th position in the ATP ranking on February 28, 1994. In his career, in singles, he won thirteen tournaments on the ATP circuit, including the ATP German Open in 1991, a tournament that was part of the ATP Masters Series. He also achieved important results in doubles: he won six tournaments and ten defeats in the final. He was a member of the Czech Davis Cup team from 1987 to 1994 with an overall record of nine victories and eleven defeats, all in singles.
